Understanding computers and learning the basics of coding helps children to develop an appreciation of how things work. .This is an important reason that coding should be taught in schools, so children learn these skills while they are young. The ability to solve problems is a trait that is useful in life in general.
Hour of Code is an opportunity for every student to try computer science. The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. In this changing world, computer literacy is becoming a more and more important part of society.
